gregbackwards: the-fifth-symphony: I don’t remember when I found this .gif, or who made it (if you know, tell me so I can credit them), but it’s just the best thing. Mostly in how the horn player is not only bracing his ear from the sound, but how the shock of the hammer makes his music bounce.   Not only the aforementioned, but the sheer look of displeasure on the bass clarinetist’s face. I posit that this is absolutely the best moment in all of the known orchestral repertoire. Mahler 6!
